Launched in early 2020, Arctic Vision seeks to empower and promote the successful livelihood of persons who are blind and visually impaired through unique, innovative and learner-driven rehabilitation strategies.

Sarah Moreau, owner of Arctic Vision, is a mom of one son, and a pilot wife. Together they enjoy exploring the outdoors, and enjoy family time when given the opportunity. 

 

Sarah is a Teacher for the Visually Impaired, Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist, and Certified Low Vision Rehabilitation Therapist. Sarah is a native Texan, and moved to Alaska in 2014. She has worked as a direct Service provider  in rural and urban settings in both Texas and Alaska with persons of all ages from birth to death, University adjunct professor, research contractor, and consultant locally and nationally.

Sarah is the past-chair for the Alaska Chapter of (AER) Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired, past chair for the Low Vision Division for AER, past-chair as  Council of Chapters Chair for the International AER Board. She is currently providing leadership as the secretary for the Leadership and Administrator Division for AER, and planning committee member for the International Orientation and Mobility Online Symposium.
